Current Work
A depiction of the layers that grow in earth as an everlasting record of time and history, this painting is enveloped in texture resembling its title, including various mediums to enhance the artistic experience. Natural elements and metallic materials accentuate and bring realism to the abstract work.
OBX
This triptych was created on commission for a client's home away from home in OBX. Drawing on memories of childhood summers growing up in Nags Head, the artist recalls an empty, peaceful beach inviting one to waste their day by the waves.
or me

This set of four panels reflects my desire to speak truth for justice and democracy and is my interpretation of the quote,
"If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others who will be for me? And if not now, when?"

Layers
Tropical
Warm views and wispy brush strokes convey movement in the wild greenery suggestive of a tropical rainforest. Bright turquoise offsets the deep orange backdrop in the contrasting and colorful work. Inspired by Henri Rousseau's "Jungle with Setting Sun."
Untitled
Created for commission this large piece was made to be displayed in a family home with the client's desire to be reminded of the bodies of water surrounding their river and beach houses. Deep blue waters compliment the warm sun rays creating the constant reminder of beautiful memories.
